Joint customers can route OT telemetry into Oracle’s platform through Waterfall’s hardware-enforced one-way gateways, gaining the visibility Oracle provides while keeping the control network unreachable from IT. In addition to on premise products, Oracle now offers many solutions through Cloud offerings. Waterfall Security Solutions prepared early for this class of migration with the development of our Unidirectional CloudConnect solution. The Unidirectional CloudConnect product is based on Waterfall’s core Unidirectional Gateway technology, a hardware enforced solution that enables the transmission of data from high security networks and zones to lower security networks without introducing network connectivity threats. In addition, Unidirectional CloudConnect handles the task of converting OT / industrial / on-premise protocols to protocols used for cloud connectivity. Unidirectional CloudConnect safely delivers data required from high-security networks, such as OT networks, to Oracles Internet-based cloud solution, enabling the full benefits of Oracles solution without introducing network connectivity risks to vital OT networks.
