Operators running Alstom systems can use Waterfall Unidirectional Security Gateways to move plant data outbound to enterprise, cloud and remote monitoring systems without exposing the control network to inbound cyber attacks.

Waterfall Security and Alstom have a global collaboration agreement in place which helps secure the world-class rail and metro networks Alstom provides to its customers. This partnership is in line with the rail industry’s own acknowledgment that dealing with cyber threats must be made a priority. But it is also an acknowledgement and a response to the growing digitalization and connectivity in metros and railways which exposes transport infrastructures to cyber-attacks.
