Position Summary: The Marketing Events Director will lead the strategy, planning, and execution of all events and experiential marketing efforts to enhance brand visibility, engage target audiences, and drive business growth. This role requires a creative, detail-oriented, and results-driven leader with the ability to manage multiple large-scale events while collaborating across teams. Key Responsibilities: • Event Strategy & Planning: o Develop and implement a comprehensive events strategy aligned with the company’s marketing goals and objectives. o Identify opportunities for events that enhance brand presence, thought leadership, and lead generation. • Event Execution: o Oversee the execution of in-person, virtual, and hybrid events, including conferences, trade shows, product launches, webinars, and networking events. o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency in branding and messaging. o Manage event timelines, budgets, and logistics to deliver seamless experiences. • Team Leadership: o Lead a high-performing events team, fostering creativity and collaboration. o Partner with internal teams (e.g., marketing, sales, and Business Development) and external vendors to ensure flawless event execution. • Budget Management: o Create and manage the events budget, ensuring cost efficiency without compromising on quality. o Negotiate contracts with vendors, venues, and suppliers. • Performance Analysis: o Define and track KPIs for events, providing post-event reports, analysis, and recommendations for improvement. o Leverage data and attendee feedback to continuously enhance event effectiveness. Qualifications & Skills: • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field. • Experience: o 7+ years of experience in marketing events, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. o Proven success in planning and executing large-scale events. • Skills: o Strong project management skills with excellent attention to detail. o Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. o Creative thinker with a strategic mindset. o Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. o Proficient in event management platforms and digital marketing tools. • Other: Availability to travel and work flexible hours as needed.
