Channel Partner Manager (NA)

As an experienced Channel Partner Manager, you will have the unique opportunity to work with a cutting-edge technology within a rapidly expanding market. You will be responsible for developing existing Waterfall partnerships as well as developing and aligning your strategy to acquiring new partners and enable their success. We are looking for a self-driven, talented professional who is comfortable in a fast-paced startup environment with a hands-on mentality.

Demonstrated technical aptitude is required and will be a key to success. This includes the ability to align technical capabilities with market trends and opportunity as well as recognize technical product alignment opportunities as you engage in the market.

Responsibilities

✔️Developing and maintaining channel partners and prospective partner relationships
✔️Negotiating contracts and growth plans with current and prospective channel partners
✔️Sourcing, recruiting and on-boarding new regional and industry-specific partners, including contract negotiation (Regional/National resellers, VARs, OEMs, SIs and Distributors contracts)
✔️Meeting and exceeding pipelines from your portfolio of channel partners
✔️Partnering closely with internal teams to develop and deliver a cohesive value proposition in order to remove technical barriers and provide a solid roadmap to our partners
✔️Working with the sales team, and enabling the sales process of our channel partners including support with our sales tools and resources
✔️Working with marketing team to enable channel network with sales tools
✔️Creating and running a tiered training and certification program
✔️Organizing and managing channel partner events

Requirements

✔️At least 3-6 years’ experience in a SW company environment working in business development, channels, partners
✔️A solid mix of sales acumen, technical competency, and relationship building
✔️A proven track record of goal over-achievement
✔️A hands-on, independent and self-driven personality
✔️A strong networker who has the ability to establish and maintain relationships across hierarchy level
✔️A natural motivator who brings internal and external partners to the next level
